What We Build

Covers for how your boat actually lives

Mooring covers

For boats that stay in the water. Built to shed rain fast and vent moisture, with a tension system that holds through a Florida afternoon storm.

Trailerable covers

Reinforced where highway wind loads hit, with strap and tie-down systems that keep the cover on the boat and off your paint at speed.

Storage covers

Full coverage and breathability for the months a boat sits, so you come back to a dry interior instead of mildew.

Console & T-top covers

Fitted covers for consoles, leaning posts, helm electronics, and T-tops, patterned around every grab rail and antenna.

Yacht cover sets

Full sets for larger vessels: deck equipment, tender, stack, windlass, and davit covers, all built to match.

Cushions & upholstery

While we have your patterns, we can rebuild seating and cushions in matching marine vinyl and quick-dry foam.

No Holes In Your Boat

You do not have to drill your boat to cover it properly

This is one of the first questions we get, and it is a fair one. Plenty of owners do not want new holes, screws, or snap studs in a hull they just paid for, and they should not have to accept a baggy cover as the trade-off. We build both ways.

Non-invasive

Hole-free covers

No drilling, no screws, no snap studs. The cover is patterned and tensioned so it holds itself tight to your boat with nothing permanently fixed to the hull or deck. Nothing to corrode around, nothing to seal, and nothing you have to undo later. The fit does not suffer for it.

Track & rope with snaps

For owners open to snaps

If you are comfortable with snaps, we build covers that run on a track and rope system with snaps for an extremely tight, low-profile fit. It is a clean, proven setup and some owners prefer how flush it sits.

If you have no preference, we will lean toward the non-invasive build. You keep your hull exactly as it is and still get a cover that looks like it was made for the boat, because it was.

Recent Work

Some recent covers

Three covers off our benches, each patterned to a different boat. The process is identical every time: pattern on the boat itself, cut, sew, then come back and fit it in person. Each one stops just before the bow eye, runs well below the rub rail down both sides, and tapers up at the transom so water sheds off instead of pooling. What changes from boat to boat is how the cover holds on, and that part is your call.

Questions

Custom boat cover FAQ

Can you build a boat cover without putting holes in my boat?

Yes. A non-invasive cover is tensioned and secured without drilling anything into your hull or deck, so there is no hardware to install, nothing to corrode around, and nothing to explain to the next owner. If you are open to snaps, we also build covers that run on a track and rope system with snaps, which gives you a very tight, low-profile fit. Either way you get a cover that looks right. Tell us which you prefer and we will build to it.

Which boat cover fabric should I choose?

We build in three marine fabrics. Sunbrella is the premium standard, solution-dyed acrylic with the longest life in direct sun and colors that hold. WeatherMax is lighter and extremely strong, and it is our most popular choice for boats that get covered and uncovered constantly. Stamoid is a coated marine fabric that is fully waterproof and wipes clean, which suits covers that live in the weather full time. Every cover is sewn with 100% PTFE lifetime thread, whichever fabric you pick.

What is the difference between a mooring, trailerable, and storage cover?

A cover on a boat in a slip has a different job than one facing highway wind. Mooring covers prioritize water shedding and ventilation so nothing pools or sours underneath. Trailerable covers add reinforcement and tie-down strength for travel loads. Storage covers focus on full coverage and breathability for the months a boat sits. Tell us how you use your boat and we build for that.

How do you get the fit right?

We pattern to your actual boat, never off a generic template. Our shop uses 3D measuring and digital patterning, then cuts on a CNC table so the pattern repeats exactly. That is why our covers sit tight over hardware instead of bunching around it. And if something is not sitting right when we fit it, we stay with it until it does.

What drives the price of a custom boat cover?

Four things, mostly: the size and shape of what we are covering, the fabric you choose, the hardware and tie-down system, and extras like vents, reinforcement patches, or motor hoods. A center console is a different job than a sportfish with a tower. Send us your boat details and we will price it properly.

How long will a custom boat cover last?

Fabric choice and sun exposure decide it, and in Florida sun Sunbrella holds color and strength longest. What usually kills a cover first is not the fabric though, it is the thread and the fit. Ordinary thread rots in UV and seams let go, and a loose cover chafes itself apart. We use PTFE thread that does not rot, and we pattern for a tight fit.

Do you build covers for yachts and sportfish boats?

Yes. The same loft and the same patterning process that covers center consoles builds full cover sets, stack covers, and deck equipment covers for sportfish boats, yachts, and superyachts. If your project is larger or unusual, start a conversation and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right shop.

Do you build boat covers for boats outside South Florida?

Our boat covers are fully custom and patterned on the boat itself, so we build them for boats we can get to, which means South Florida. If you are out of state and want custom canvas from us, our marine sunshades are the product we build and ship anywhere in the country, because a shade is measured with a kit we mail you rather than patterned on site.
